Clairin, Haiti
Vieux Sajous 2nd edition follows the launch of the first cuvee in 2020. It represents the ultimate evolution of a Clairin in barrels and the perfect balance between the identity of Clairin, produced by Michel Sajous at the Chelo distillery, and the influence of wood in the aging of spirits in the tropical climate of Haiti. This second release is based on the 2017 harvest of Clairin Sajous. It is a blend of 14 barrels, previously used for various great rums, whiskeys and cognacs. This very delicate Vieux Sajous proves that aged Clairin belongs in the same category as other highly sought-after aged sugar cane spirits.
