All the expression of Vermont in an exceptional bottle. WhistlePig Estate Oak Rye whiskey is a 100% Rye Whiskey and represents the result of years of patience. This liquid, chosen from our best reserves, is aged for over ten years in toasted Vermont oak barrels, made from wood from the WhistlePig farm. These oaks have more rings than the American oak usually used for whiskey casks, which allows the liquid to develop deeper flavors as it ages. Even the pewter stopper is handmade in Vermont!

TASTING NOTE

Color: Warm amber.

Nose: Aromas of caramel, vanilla and wood dominate and mingle with intense notes of allspice, tobacco and a hint of burnt orange.

Taste: A round and creamy palate, with aromas of caramel, sweet spices, leather and dark chocolate.

Finish: A long and enveloping finish, with woody notes and aromas of caramel and spicy rye.
