The Triple “A” movement brings together winemakers who work in opposition to technological vinification, which tends to blur the identity of the terroir. Born from a meeting between Giovanni Chioccioli, owner of the Altadonna estate in the Chianti appellation, and Luca Gargano, this naturally sparkling wine is made with the Sangiovese grape variety. It is created by adding water to pomace and incorporating a small amount of must to create a short second fermentation in the bottle.
Thirst-quenching and sparkling, Aqvarello reinterprets the ancient sharecropper wines that were drunk throughout the day. This wine is like a basket full of red and black fruits. Its flavour and aroma palette are underscored by a delicious fruity acidity. Very crisp, it demonstrates incredible depth while still maintaining its ethereal nature.
