The Glen Garioch distillery was first founded in 1797 and ceased production in 1968. After it was bought by Stanley P. Morrison Ltd in 1970, production began again in 1973. Owned by Beam Suntory since 1994, it was mothballed again for a short period between 1995 and 1997. After closing in 1996, the three malting floors were revived in March 2022. This abundantly generous bottling proudly displays a deeply natural and authentic earthy character.
