Since its creation in 2005, the family-owned Kilchoman farm-distillery has delighted lovers of peated single malts with its top-notch bottlings. In honor of Feis Isle, Kilchoman and the LMDW teams have selected 3 exceptional barrels in this year 2021, specifically intended for France. This 5-year-old single cask comes from an ex-cask of Sauternes, which gives it a profile of great originality. The characteristic peaty and maritime notes of Kilchoman bring structure to an otherwise remarkably fresh single malt, between floral, honeyed and fruity notes (caramelized pear, citrus fruits). Surprising and successful!
