Situated among the lush rolling hills of the Onderberg district, a small-batch spirit is fermented and distilled in Malelane, a farming town in Mpumalanga. Mhoba Rum is made with sugarcane. Proudly planted, grown, produced, and bottled at the Mhoba Rum Distillery, Select Release White Rum is a selection of Mhoba’s most exceptional pot distillations. Made from unique South African cane varieties with dates of each harvest period always noted. The cuts are made by taste and intuition, where sampling of every fraction is done to build a mental image of the spirit as it flows from the still. The distillation remains more art than science. The distillates in this rum are selected for their exceptional fragrance, flavour, and sugarcane character. This rum is the essence of Nkomazi sugarcane and Robert Greaves own efforts when deciding on which cuts to take.
