Rum, Jamaica
This version blended from two casks— one from the island’s oldest distillery and the other from its most popular — proudly proclaims its duality loud and clear, with the hydrocarbon notes found on its aroma palette contrasting a never-ending exoticism on the palate. Staying true to the traditional style of Jamaican rum, it also reveals boundless generosity and constantly breaks down the boundaries of the tasting.
TASTING NOTES
Nose : Rich, powerful. The empyreumatic first nose (rubber, turpentine) quickly moves into very fresh lemon, vanilla and exotic (pineapple) tones. Allowed to breathe, the medicinal and camphoric palette reveals notes of rubber that develop at their own pace.
Appearance :Deep Golden Yellow.

Overall : Long, concentrated. Staying close to the cane sugar, the start of the finish becomes exotic (pineapple, kaffir lime) and liquorice. In the after-taste, floral notes (geranium, iris, lily) are coated in delicious acacia honey. The end of the finish is powdery (rice), vegetal and slightly aniseedy.
