Rum, Jamaica
Habitation Velier (apart from the single cask Hampden 2010 <> H released in 2019).A typical example of high ester rums, however less extreme compared to its predecessors HGML and C <> H. Equipped with four iron stills, the Hampden distillery is renowned for producing both heavy and light rums. This version called “Diamond H” has a high ester content, between 900 and 1000 gr / HLAP after distillation. Aged entirely on Jamaican soil for 5 years in ex-bourbon casks, this rum has been bottled by force of the cask, 62% ABV. During aging, the share of angels exceeded 40%.
