Buckwheat Whisky, Brittany

In 2002, Guy Le Ray, the founder of the Distilleries des Menhirs, finally realised his dream and launched Eddu Silver; the world’s first buckwheat whisky and a great success. And it was in exactly the same cognac cask used several times to produce Eddu Silver that this 54% ABV whisky was matured. The red cask wonderfully brings out Eddu’s unique cereal and fruity freshness in a complex and shimmering expression.
