Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Speyside
Reopened in 1965 under the name Caperdonich after sixty-three years of “silence”, this distillery closed again in 2002 before being completely destroyed in 2011. Once aerated, the aromatic and taste palette of this Caperdonich 2000, less exuberant than that of the Tormore 1988, marvellously embodies the powerful, mineral and at the same time fruity, spicy and herbaceous style of this single malt on the way to becoming mythical among connoisseurs the world over.
